By accessing or using the Pocket Lawyers website or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Service Description
Pocket Lawyers Malta provides a private legal consultation platform that connects registered drivers with active-duty licensed lawyers for roadside assistance and emergency consultations. Pocket Lawyers is a software platform and is not itself a law firm.
3. Important Emergency Disclaimer
POCKET LAWYERS IS A PRIVATE LEGAL CONSULTATION PLATFORM AND DOES NOT REPLACE OFFICIAL EMERGENCY SERVICES (112).
Our services are strictly limited to private legal advice, roadside consultations, and evidence recording. Pocket Lawyers does not dispatch police, medical, fire, or civil protection personnel. If you are in immediate physical danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or require urgent assistance from public safety authorities, you must dial 112 immediately.
4. User Accounts and Subscriptions
Users must register an account to access the app. Emergency video calling features require an active individual or family subscription, managed and billed via our platform or respective app stores. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and can be cancelled at any time.
5. Recording and Evidence Vault
By using the emergency call features, you acknowledge and consent to the automatic video and audio recording of the consultation. You are solely responsible for how you share, download, or utilize the recorded evidence retrieved from your dashboard.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Lawyers Malta shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform, or for any advice provided by independent legal professionals connected through the platform.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
